1. Thin pleural line

2. Absent pleural sliding 

3. A lines only (no B lines or commet tails)

4. No effusion/ quad sign (air will float above fluid due to gravity so there can be no fluid anterior to a pneumothorax)

5. Barcode sign on M mode

6. Lung point on M mode or B mode

7. NO lung pulse
